Miss Atalla is a terrible doctor. She jumps to conclusions and is not a great listener. I am not sure she really cares about her patients and has terrible bedside manner. The way she delivered her diagnosis to me was (unnecessarily) alarming and luckily for me was wrong!

I would never recommend this doctor either. I went there for a second opinion after receiving some devastating news. During my very first appointment, the first thing she asked me, before anything else, was, "who is paying for this?" I was taken aback but continued the consultation. She then asked me several very personal and inappropriate questions which are outside her area of expertise and had absolutely nothing to do with why I was there. She also sent me out of the room to look for nurses for blood tests / urine samples and she asked me to look online to work out my own BMI. She also consulted medical books during my consultations. She did not correctly explain medication she had prescribed to me resulting in me taking it wrongly and it having a knock-on effect. I raised my concerns by e-mail, only to receive shockingly rude and unprofessional responses from her. From my own experience I found her to be unprofessional, rude, insensitive and lacking in knowledge. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I agree with the other review. I met miss atalla at the fertility london show this year. A place where there were loads of doctors, nutritionists and clinics that are there to guide, help and listen. I received some fabulous advice and all positive be it even small. When i came across this woman she was so negative, made assumptions that is was too late for me and must accept it already. Spoke over me and did not realise she was tearing down some of the hope i gained at the show. I walked away feeling down but realised it was only her opinion, not all the other specialists. I would never recommend this woman for even a small conversation, fertility is such a delicate, emotional subject and as woman who require help, people like miss atalla are those who should be avoided. I have nothing negative to say about The London Bridge hospital just Miss Nataly Atalla.

Ms Atalla came highly recommended and while she is clearly intelligent, has a terrible bedside manner. We saw her for additional fertility help and advice at a time when my wife was newly pregnant after having had a miscarriage previously. She was brusque, dismissed our worries and fears and did not listen to what we had to say. Instead she jumped to conclusions, spoke over us and showed no sympathy or understanding for the situation we found ourselves in. Trying for a baby is already a time fraught with emotions (and hormones!) and a doctor’s role during this period should not be to bark orders at his/her patients. If you’re looking for a gynaecologist who will hear you out and give you reasoned, well rounded advice I suggest you look elsewhere.
